Entering in December, we all start to be busy hosting or attending festival gatherings. Food with simple and quick preparation but still flavorful is the ultimate balance we are looking for! Today I would like to add my contribution into the biscuits collection. However, this is not one of the traditional sweet and crispy biscuits recipes. It is a savory and soft biscuits with an Asian twist: savory biscuits with scallion flavor. They are not only perfect for cocktails and pre-dinner snacks, but also a good idea to bring to a party and share with other guests!

I call this biscuit by a nickname "Asian version of bruttiboni". These biscuits are in bite size with a soft texture like the bread. They have a savory flavor with a hint of sweetness from the heavy cream. At the same time, the scallion adds a characteristic and oriental twist to it. Although they are not colorfully glazed as the fancy festival cookies, you may still find yourself non-stop eating them.
The preparation is easiest of the easiest! There is no egg or butter used in this recipe. No electric utensil is needed! You could get the portion for a big party ready within 30 minutes! I promise that even the first-time baker could make it work!
